Scripture Reading: Hebrews 13:15

Brethren, have you ever felt defeated, depressed or overwhelmed with the problems of life? One thing is certain, you are not by yourself. That is a common experience. The question is how do we deal with it? Some may give up and resign to it. Others may look the way of self-help books.
You can experience victory over the problems in your life. God wants you to share your problems with Him in prayer, but more than that, He wants you to praise Him in the midst of the problems.
Praise changes our hearts and our focus. We are no longer focused upon the problems but the One who is the solution. “Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name.” (Hebrews 13:15, ESV)
God can change any situation in your life anytime He pleases. He is sovereign over heaven and earth. As you praise Him, He may choose to bring amazing changes. However, if He chooses not to change your outward circumstances, He will certainly change your attitude and give you grace and victory through those circumstances.
May God be pleased to fill us to overflowing with thanksgiving for His amazing graces—the greatest of which is the gift of Himself in the Person of His Son. And may thanksgiving give rise to great hope that the God who has so richly provided for us to date, will most certainly give us everything we need for our everlasting good—and increase for all eternity in showing us “the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:7)

Prayer Points:
O God, You are my God and I am only beginning to learn the wonders of You! In the past I have only considered Your kindness and blessings when they met my desires, often the desires the world has set before me. I have not always understood Your ways and sometimes placed myself before You acting self-righteous. Forgive me. You are in control; I am only Your instrument in building Your kingdom. I am slow to learn about praise and gratitude. I am like a small child learning to walk and I only sense the wonder that awaits me if I, but follow Your precepts instead of the beckoning of the world. I am in awe of Your great love, mercy, faithfulness, and majestic glory. Thank You for looking on me Your lowly servant.
Just praise and worship God in songs for at least 15 minutes.
