Scripture Reading: Psalm 147:1

Nowadays many Christians are ruled by their flesh and their feelings. It is not uncommon to see an able-bodied youth during a praise and worship session in church sitting down. If you ask him or her why; they would tell you that they are praising God in their minds. Really? Your mind! What is your body there for? Don’t you know that you have been bought with a price; therefore, glorify God in your body (1 Corinthians 6:20). Some don’t even bother genuflecting before the Blessed Sacrament. It doesn’t matter, God sees my heart, they may say. God judges your heart through your actions. Some profess to know God but they deny Him by their actions (Titus 1:16a). Some people are ashamed of speaking out for God. Psalm 119:46 says, “I will speak of your testimonies also before kings and will not be ashamed.” Why are you ashamed of singing and dancing for God in public? It is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful. There are some people in the hospital bed that can’t move their bodies and wish that they were like you shoes.
