Scripture Reading:  Psalm 46:1

Let’s start today with the testimony of one of the users of Daily Strength:  “My name is Sister V who sent a message to you on 14/2/2014 concerning the challenges in my marriage.  My husband had accused me of committing adultery.  Recall that you asked me if I was guilty of the accusation; for which I said NO.  On  26/1/16 the Catholic Marriage Tribunal in my diocese passed a verdict in my favour.  Though it tarried for over two years, but God has eventually vindicated me as you prophesied to me as we prayed together.  I am now on my way from my station to obtain the verdict.  Indeed His rod and staff comforted me.  The Lord is my shepherd!”  Hear this also, “My brethren, I have not seen what is as sweet as serving the Lord.  During the 2016, 21 days fasting and prayers, a car key was given to me and my husband on the 17th of January 2016 while undergoing the fasting programme.  We wedded October 2014, but no pregnancy was forthcoming, instead I was battling with many types of sickness.  Suddenly the ’TEARS WIPPER’, visited my home and wiped my tears from my face.  I took in and as I send this testimony, I am three months pregnant.  Our God is faithful; He never fails; He remains the same at all times and can make all things to be good.”  Beloved before we embarked on the 2016 21 days fasting and prayers, God promised to visit us mightily and in a special way.  He promised to put laughter in our mouths and smiles on our lips of as many as believed in Him.  He assured us that we shall be so overwhelmed that we shall be skidding like calves. Beloved in Christ, the Lord has been faithful. Testimonies of different shades and types have been pouring in.  In the 2017, 21 days fasting and prayers, all members of Daily Strength Devotional family all over the world shall once again change location and meet our God just as Abraham met Melchezedek; for, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”  God wants us to trust Him for the Psalmist says, “The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.” (Psa. 147:11)  No wonder the writer of Hebrews says, “Let us hold firm to the confession of our

faith without wavering, for He is faithful who promised.” (Heb. 10:23)

Beloved in Christ, the Holy Spirit says to all members of Daily Strength family that the only way they can reap the benefit of the Christian life, have protection, guidance and comfort from Him is first, be born again and become a child of God.  For if you are in Christ Jesus, old things have passed away. (2 Cor.5:17)You have the privilege of talking to and hearing from God.  You have the privilege of decreeing a thing and it is established (Job 22:28).  You have the privilege of changing the location or destination of an evil arrow directed towards you.  You have the privilege of unwavering faith that sees mountains as mere plains.  You have the privilege to act and be addressed as Christ’s ambassador here on earth.  Finally and most important you shall say like Paul, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course.  I have kept the faith” (2 Tim. 4:7) at the end of time.
