Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:13.

Beloved, as many as rely on Christ can do so much, and a seeming unprofitable life turns profitable. A shameful situation turns famous, ugly turns beautiful; all through the grace of our Lord. Here is an inspiring story about Guy: Mr and Mrs Laliberte, were so unhappy and disillusioned when their son Guy opted out of college to become an artiste. They could not imagine their son entertaining passersby along the road for small tips. To them, it was shameful and disgraceful. However, Guy started his career of an artiste as a street performer, amusing crowds by some funny movements and pretending to be eating fire. Gradually Guy started gaining popularity to the extent that he and his troupe were often invited to perform at government functions. Soon Guy Laliberte was counted among the first Five Hundred wealthiest persons in the world. Guy’s parents failed to understand that in Christ Jesus the very weak can become very strong, the one who means nothing today can become someone tomorrow.

Dear Friend, they failed to understand that impossibility is actually nothing, but depends on the way the issue was planned and executed. Napoleon says, “Impossibility is found only in the dictionary of fools.” Whoever is afraid of doing too much does too little. To achieve your God given potentials, you must attempt what people consider to be impossible; for nothing is impossible to those who lay their trust in Christ. Allow your vision to be bigger than you because God is the One who grants you success. The Scripture says, “…. under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favour to the skilful; but time and chance happen to them all. (Eccl. 9:11) So learn to be comfortable with great dreams. Always form in your mind great dreams; allow such dreams to take hold of your subconscious, while committing them into God’s care. You will eventually succeed. “As a man thinks so he is.”Do not allow yourself to fall into the class of the mediocre, they think that things are impossible. Beloved, nothing is impossible, you can attain your potentials in life relying on the strength which comes from the Lord. Let this truth occupy your mind. Develop an infinite capacity to ignore what others say cannot be done. John Mason says, “The most disappointed people in the world are those who get just what is coming to them and no more”
