Scripture Reading: John 19:26–27
As we gradually come to the end of the Great Marian Novena, let us continue to behold the Blessed Virgin Mary our mother and queen. She gave birth to baby Jesus in the most difficult of circumstances, risking her life to bring the Son of God into the world, raised Him, and watched Him die. Inspired by Jesus, we look to honor Mary and embracing her mother which He left for us as gift.
St. Maria Faustina encourages us to “Turn to our Blessed Mother in confident prayer. She holds you close to her Immaculate Heart and will direct you to her Son, Jesus. She is the perfect Mother, the Mother of All Grace. Trust in Her maternal care and intercession. She knows how to unlock the graces of the Mercy of her Son. And she longs to do so for you, her precious child” (See Diary #11).
“I am your merciful mother, to you, and to all the inhabitants of this land and all the rest who love me, invoke and confide in me.” —From the miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Reflect, upon your relationship with Mother Mary, the Mother of Mercy today. Ask yourself if you trust in her maternal care and intercession? Examine if you are not wholeheartedly in love with our Blessed Mother and if you completely trust in her motherly care. Spend your time today to open your heart fully to all that God wants to bless you with through her care. Don’t be afraid to turn to her. She will point you to her Son.

Prayer Points:
1. Heavenly Father, I feel like giving up. Help me to remember the reason I began. Help me to see the purpose behind Your plan. Provide the necessary grace. Keep me set upon Your face, to find strength for the next step, to discover faith to keep trying and to believe that miracles are possible today and in all circumstances. Amen.
2. Dearest Mary, my Queen. The Lord has entrusted to you the storehouse of His Mercy. The King of Kings has set you on a throne and given you charge of His Mercy. May I come to you, this day and always, seeking that which you wish to bestow upon me. Thank You for bringing me the Divine Mercy of your Son. Dearest Mother, pray for me. Jesus, I trust in You. “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, your children!”
