covenanted quiet time, you are to study the scripture passage of the day, meditate on it and allow the
Holy Spirit to teach you through it. Then use the message of the day to pray, let your prayer
points/requests be inspired by the word of God
Ø SEED SOWING:
21 DAYS SEED OFFERING OF FAITH: HAVE YOU SOWN YOURS?
Beloved in Christ, thank God for the grace of joining us in this ongoing 2019 21-days fasting and prayer.
First, we must offer our lives in total surrender to Jesus during and beyond these 21-days. Also, in faith,
we should offer some part of our resources in line with the spirit of almsgiving (generosity/charity) which
is an integral part of our annual 21 Days FASTING and prayer programme.
GIVE GOD YOUR BEST, 2 Sam 24:24: “But the king replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying you for it. I
will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” In the centre of faith is the fact
that our offerings implies a sacrifice. We can be sincere and generous like King David, who said “I will not
sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” Our offerings to God should have the
following qualities: First, it should be the best that we can offer like Abel in Genesis. When we give the
best to God we are in the position to expect the best from God. Second, our gifts should be generous,
totally selfless, without compulsion, without complaining, joyfully, and from the heart, for the spread of
God’s word and charity.
WHY A MINIMUM OF N1050? Daily Strength Devotional Family/ users/participants of the 21 days fasting
and prayer are highly encouraged to sow a seed offering of a minimum of N1050. In the spirit of sacrifice,
almsgiving and faith, DSD calls on all users to sacrifice at least N50 daily from the food we are giving up in
the Spiritual exercise of fasting, which will amount to the minimum of N1050 for the 21 Days. We are
encouraged to offer/sow more than N1050. Remember our seed should reflect our expectation of harvest
and the resources God has blessed us with AN EXAMPLE TO EMULATE: 1Kings 17:8-16, this episode teaches us to invite God to use His limitless
power in the context of our limited resources and circumstances. Here we find two important principles
for our edification. First, we must offer something that is necessary to us. This is the type of gift that
requires our faith. This woman had personal and family needs, but she offered to sustain the life and
ministry of Elijah, the Prophet. And God blessed her with abundant provision. Second, this woman gave
first. Her offering confirmed and expressed her faith which activated the miraculous process of Divine
provision. We can be inspired and encouraged by the example of the woman. Let our giving of a minimum
of N1050 be an expression and a confirmation of our faith, in support of DSD Evangelization and Charity.
Sow at least a minimum of N1050, and GOD will multiply it in diverse ways.
Brethren, in Luke 6:38, when Jesus said, “Give”, he also said “And you will be given”. Giving and receiving
go together. If you are expecting something from God, believe in faith and give something to God and
God’s work (DSD) no matter how little (at least a minimum of N1050). Good seeds bring good harvests.
May God Bless the seed of our lives and the resources we sow/have sown in faith during these 21 Days so
that we will reap abundantly from God’s provision in the Name of Jesus Christ the Lord-Amen.
21-DAYS SEED OFFERING FAITH DECLARATION: Eternal Father, this is the time for divine favour! So, as I
sow my seed offering for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through DSD, may You accept this token of
my offering to You. (And when you sow your seed offering, be deliberate in your faith, saying) “My time
for divine favour has come!” (Declare it by faith) my time for divine favour has come! (Write this down)—
2019 is my time for the anointing of divine favour! (Hold on to it and declare it every day for the next 21
days starting from the day you sow your seed) And as surely as the sun will rise again tomorrow, God’s
favour will drive all darkness away, and the light of God’s glory will shine on my life this 2019 and beyond
in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord-Amen.

With every part of our being let us groan in prayer, devote our minds and spirits to God’s will, offering
ourselves with total dedication to God during this period. Let us seek holiness of life and glorifying God as
we go about our daily activities. Above all our desires, let us desire to be saints during this period and
beyond for the Scripture says in Matthew 6:33 “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well.”
As we seek the reign of God in our hearts, families and societies and draw closer to God during this 21
days fasting and prayer programme in 2019, the Lord shall occupy His place in our lives, marriages,
families, businesses, ministries, and careers, as our Shepherd, and we shall flourish and blossom with
abundance, and be refreshed with His wonderful provision in every aspect of our lives, in the Name of
Jesus Christ the Lord (Psalms 23:1-2)
