Scripture Reading: Luke 18:27.
Dearly beloved in Christ, we thank God for another opportunity for DSD to mark our 11th anniversary on the 10th October, 2021. Today we shall begin our annual THE GREAT MARIAN NOVENA which we started last year, to spiritually mark our anniversary in the month of our Mother Mary (October devotion). This GREAT MARIAN NOVENA begins today Saturday, 2nd of October and will end on the 10th of October, 2021.
We encourage everyone to try as much as possible not to miss out on the Novena. Let us bring all our intentions to God, especially those that seem difficult or hard. “Look, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too difficult for me? – Jeremiah 32:27, In Genesis 18:14 God is asking you and me “Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you–in about a year–and Sarah will have a son.” Jeremiah 32:17 confesses “Oh, Lord GOD! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is difficult for You!” In Zechariah 8:6 “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “If this is impossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be impossible in My eyes?” declares the LORD of Hosts”
Beloved child of God, kindly inform or invite all your friends and loved ones so that they can be part of this great prayer Novena. Whatever challenges you may be facing nothing is too hard for the Lord. God is sovereign and He is powerful over every single thing – the seen and the unseen; the laws of time, the laws of nature and the laws of men; over kings, elections, disease, death, war, economies, problems, needs and difficulties. All things are possible with God. Luke 1:37 says “For nothing will be impossible with God.” These verses show that there is far more than the power of positive thinking, it is the power of God that makes what seems impossible possible! So let us surrender everything: our needs, intentions, requests, burdens and desires to God. Be convinced that God will do it again for the praise of His glorious Name and give a new song of victory and testimony at the end of this Great Marian Novena.
